Adam Cicanese, known as ArtbyRow (Row), is a passionate aerosol artist and educator, focused on the development of his mural practice and inspiring students to explore alternative and emerging career pathways in an everchanging world.

A self- taught artist, Row, developed his craft from the foundations of using aerosol and continues to explore the different techniques and capabilities when adopting it, in both a fine-art and large-scale mural setting.

Constantly pushing the boundaries in a public forum, Row challenges the stigmas surrounding graffiti art, within his local community and beyond. Row also uses fine art techniques, along with oils and acrylics to further develop his portfolio. His more recent work displays colours and textures that are synonymous with WA’s vast coastline and native expressions in large scale murals, while drawing on the beauty from his home-town, Fremantle, Western Australia. He displays an on-going hunger to continue his growth as an artist and creating dynamic works of art.
