I regularly scroll through endless amounts of reference images, unknowingly of what I’m looking for until I see it. I had this photo in my phone for 12 months, striking an almost nervous emotion, each time that I saw the image as I tempered with how to tackle it. Her face radiates a quiet confidence while also revealing a vulnerability to her surroundings- an external reflection of her inner beauty.
